Yoga Class Offerings for Kids

Danielle loves sharing yoga with children. Her masters degree summa cum laude is from Naropa University in Yogic Studies. Prior to moving to Florida, Danielle owned and directed both a dance center in Vermont for 8 years. She also directed two Arts Academy Grade School dance programs of 800 children in Phoenix, Az as well as taught Dance and American culture at the Maricopa Community Colleges. Besides directing Garnet Heart Wellness, Danielle teaches dance and yoga at a preschool in Palm Beach and at Mandel Library.

Kids Yoga | Ages 4-8

Kids Yoga improves concentration and wellbeing for all humans but is especially good for children. It allows the child to get a better sense of their body and their breath. Yoga gives them the tools to stay calm during stressful academic and performance situations. It's physically a great cross train for sports and dance. It will help our world to improve by bringing a better understanding of mindfulness to our future leaders. Children teach yoga asana (postures) in a playful way as well as pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditations.
