Garnet Duszko

Garnet is a homeschooling high schooler born in 2008. He has explored many avenues of visual and performance art throughout his young life. He became fascinated with metal casting and fabrication in December 2021 while attending a holiday art fair at Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach.

He soon began classes there in areas of jewelry and Metalsmithing. Garnet has also been working on his stone carving skills and is certified in Cabochon carving with the Palm Beach Gem and Mineral Society. He conducted demonstrations of stone masonry at the Annual Gem and mineral Festival at the fairgrounds in winter 2022 and has exhibited metal designs at the Armory Holiday Show. His designs are inspired by nature. He has always been at home in the chilly woods, as he spent the first 11 years of his life in Vermont.

Besides making one of a kind art works and limited addition cast designs, Garnet excels in his scholastic courses and plays music. He is a cellist in the Lighthouse Suzuki Orchestra. He hopes you enjoy his work and thanks you for your support.
